These are two peaks to the north of the halfling lands. Laocua lies to the west of the Blue River, and Alia lies to the east. Traders between the elves and the halflings typically travel between these mountains on the Blue River. Elf traders would come south only as far as the Ventosi, although some trade with other tribes. Halflings will typically sell their goods in the city just past the mountains of Lyseasa – few go far into the elvish lands.
Their name comes from a legend of two beautiful young twin elvish sisters, each the namesake of one of the mountains, who were killed by their violent younger brother, Volshek. Thereafter, these mountains arose, each with a twin’s face carved into its side. The legend is elvish, and so halfling knowledge of it is in passing moreso than actual knowledge of the legend – you would have to ask an elf for the full story.
